The killing of FC officials has created a deadlock in the ongoing dialogue process and the meeting due to take place today, has been cancelled.

Head of government committee, Irfan Siddiqui has said that unfortunately things are not heading in right direction and after FC personnel killing; further meetings would be ineffective with TTP representatives.

In the wake of current situation, an urgent meeting of government committee members has been called on Tuesday to formalized future strategy.

Earlier of late Sunday night, TTP claimed to have killed 23 out of 30 detained Frontier Core officials in revenge in a video message released by Mohmand Agency Taliban chief Umar Khalid Khurrasani.
